This almost all-inclusive, 5 day course, will teach you how to build our Technical Support Time and Billing web site in 5 days!
The Demo Link above, allows you to view the site. The Demo allows fictional customers to purchase prepaid Tech Support Agreements, and fictional Tech Support personnel to record support sessions. The fictional Customer is emailed the details of the support session, along with the remaining balance on the agreement. You will not only build the Time and Billing web site in 5 days, you will simultaneously learn the technologies used to build it!

Who is the course targeted to?
You may be a developer who has some knowledge about building a Web Application, but would like help putting it all together. You may be a very experienced developer who just wants to see CSLA in action! There is value for both of you, but of course the more you know before we start, the more you will learn. We will not be typing code! Instead, we will use CodeSmith Tools to generate CLSA business objects, the SQL stored procedures, and the UI's that consume them. We will start with a shell Web Application that has built-in navigation, authentication, and membership profiling and then plug in the components we build with CodeSmith to complete the application. You will be amazed to see how quickly this app gets built!

Not Included
In 5 days, there is not enough time for you to build or for us to train you on any aspects of the CSLA enabled Shopping Cart web pages of the Time and Billing website. The Shopping Cart source code, however, is included with this course. If you would like specific training on integrating a Shopping Cart into your website, we have a specific course that covers just that!
Prerequisites
- We highly recommend you read Chapters 6-8 and 10 of Rocky's "Expert C# 2005 Business Objects" before attending the class. This does not mean you should read and understand every word, but it does mean you should speed read most of it, at least once.
- You should be familiar with Visual Studio 2005, the languages C# or VB.Net, and SQL Server 2005.
- You must bring your own computer (either desktop or laptop) with Visual Studio 2005, the languages C#, and SQL Server 2005 installed.
- The course will be taught in C#, but the concepts are transferrable to either language.
